THE ACCOMMODATION

 

Bryn y Wawr provides accommodation for ten female adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. 

 

The property sits in an acre of secluded grounds and provides comfortable and spacious accommodation. There are ten bedrooms with a number offering ensuite facilities or private bathrooms. All rooms measure over ten square metres with the largest measuring 19.6 square metres. Additionally the home has one self-contained ground floor flat with separate sitting room and disabled access shower and kitchenette. Also there is a further two bed cottage with an independent bathroom, living room and kitchenette.

There are two comfortable lounges in the main house providing on demand TV, games consoles and karaoke.

In the centre of the house there is a beautiful garden room which houses a large hydrotherapy pool.

The garden includes a polytunnel with raised beds and a vegetable garden. In the summer months there is a patio and barbeque area that is well used by all. At the top of the garden you will find a large activities log cabin which provides a perfect space for arts and crafts projects and learning. The log cabin is surrounded by a large decking area with seating which provides lovely views of the house, grounds and the valley.

The house also has its own on site gym equipped with a treadmill, cross trainer, stationary bike, rowing machine and weights

Bryn Y Wawr is situated in the centre of Llandeilo less than a 2-minute walk to the wide range of shops, cafes and restaurants the town offers.
