Gary Devlin
Registered Manager

My name is Gary Devlin and I am the Registered Manager at The Old Vicarage.
I began working in the learning disabilities sector in 1997. I was first registered as a home manager in 1999 and became Operations Manager for Lynbrook Homes (Newbury) in 2002.
In 2004 I returned to home management at The Old Vicarage with the previous owners of the home, Support Partners. I was seconded part time to manage a business transition in 2008, retaining the registration at The Old Vicarage whilst assisting the estabishment of a home dedicated to care for older people and self direct budgets. On completion I took up my full time role at The Old Vicarage.
I hold an NVQ4 Registered Managers Award and an NVQ assessors award.
At The Old Vicarage we have an enthusiastic and passionate staff team of 31 individuals.
All undergo common induction training following recruitment, and then undertake an NVQ qualification appropriate to their needs.
Chris Tucker
Assistant Manager

My name is Christopher Tucker and I am the Assistant Manager of The Old Vicarage.
I strated working with adults with learning disabilities in 2001 at Lynbrook Homes where I first met Gary Devlin. I moved to The Old Vicarage in 2003.
Since this time, I have worked as a Support Worker, Senior Support Worker and was made the Assistant Manager of the home in 2013.
I achieved my QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in 2017.
